Built in 1890, this 800 sq ft Toronto home needed a complete renovation from top to bottom. We needed to do a structural overhaul from foundation to ceiling, including a new roof. We finished the basement by raising the height of the ceiling and creating an open-concept atmosphere. We also integrated a new loft space in the upper level of the home. The floor-to-ceiling fireplace was created out of entirely reclaimed bricks to maintain the vintage feeling of the home. We also incorporated reclaimed wooden beams into the design of the stairs and ceiling beams of the home.
